Shortcuts work only while the relevant editor has focus, and are automatically suppressed while you’re typing in a text field — so letters like S or E never interfere with writing a description. Press Shift + ? at any time to open the same list from inside the editor.

On Mac, Ctrl/Cmd shortcuts use the Cmd (⌘) key; everywhere else, they use Ctrl.
